FutureFlite, Inc. Brings First-Class Comfort to Airline Coach Seats.
To keep competitive, many major airlines are upgrading their seats with new comfort features, and
that’s good news for FutureFlite, Inc., a Valencia, CA based company that makes lumbar support
products for passenger seats for major airlines around the world (and, most recently, lumbar supports
for the pilot seats for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner).
“I really like working with 3D-CAM,” says Andy Kanigowski, FutureFlite’s president. “When
we needs prototypes and limited production runs for our injection molded parts, 3D-CAM
is our 1-stop shop.”
“Many companies go to Taiwan because they’ll think they get a better price, but I like the fact that 3D-CAM is a local company, and are really there for us whenever we need them.
That’s crucial when it comes to co-developing the product in the R&D state.”
“We’ve been coming to 3D-CAM for 7 years. I really like working with their 3d specialists,” Kanigowski continues, “They’re extremely fluent in 3d modeling, a must for us since we usually design our products
in 2D and 3D-CAM helps us facilitate our designs. Then they assist every step of the way with
modifications and corrections that keep our costs down. The team at 3D-CAM provides high quality and very good prices on prototypes and parts. That’s why 3D-CAM and FutureFlite are a perfect match for life!”
