| “Rapid Technology” expresses 3D-CAM’s overall strategy to provide an array of prototyping techniques and processes that will assist our customers in determining the best solution for their needs.
In this section, we introduce the rapid prototyping services that we offer, including Stereolithography (SLA) prototyping and design consultation, as well as the many options available for both limited-run and full-scale production of plastic and metal parts. |
Rapid Prototyping
| Rapid Prototyping processes include Stereolithography (SLA), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), and various wax pattern approaches that best support model development. |
Metal Parts from Investment Castings
| For making metal prototypes and limited production runs of aluminum, bronze, and steel castings, investment casting patterns such as SLA QuickCast, SLS or Polyjet Wax Patterns and Epoxy Tool Wax Patterns can be used. |
Polyurethane Castings from RTV Tooling
| Using an SLA or CNC-machined master pattern, RTV rubber tools are created and used to cast polyurethane duplicates. A wide range of material selection is available to support limited run production parts. |
