At 3D-CAM, we have spent a good deal of time, energy, and money to insure that our facilities operate at a first class level. We are proud of our reputation, which is why we take every aspect of our business so seriously.Our own engineers continuously test our apparatus by manufacturing test parts that can be used to assure the most accurate calibration possible. We do not begin manufacturing prototypes for customers until we are confident that our machinery is performing at the highest standards. When those standards have been met, the prototyping process takes place in a controlled environment under careful supervision.

Once a customer’s prototype is completed, it is sent to our separate quality assurance department, where we measure and inspect every part and generate a detailed quality control report before anything is ever shipped to the customer. This final step in the process is the most painstaking because we require that every detail and dimension of the finished product be checked against the original designs. Even in such a detail-oriented environment with our state-of-the-art hardware and software, we expect to find errors. When we do, they are quickly corrected and noted in our final report.

The last aspect of our commitment to excellence is the connection to the customer. Making sure our clients receive exactly what they want is our ultimate goal. Finishing Services

In our on-site shop, each 3D-CAM master part is hand-finished, benched, and verified for dimensional accuracy and surface integrity. We will paint and silk screen your prototypes to exact specifications, ensuring the highest quality and visual appearance so that your product is ready for presentations, trade shows, etc.

2A: Minimum surface sanding and a bead blast finish. Ideal for engineering check models and form/fit testing
3A: Each part is sanded and hand-finished, benched, and verified for dimensional accuracy and surface integrity. Ideal for marketing samples, trade show samples and ready for painting.
Paint and Texture: Parts are painted and textured to exact color match and specified Texture. A 3A finish is required prior to paint and texture.

3A Finished and painted parts are of the highest quality and visual appearance – ready for photography, presentations, trade shows, etc.

Wood Working

Some types of molds require wood support. For this reason, we have a full on-site wood shop.
